The peacock does not seem to find its cascading plumes burdensome. The train is surprisingly light. Carrying it at the same level as its body, the bird trips through the forest and traipses up rocky outcrops with great ease. Rarely does the feathery extension get entangled in the jungle. It is as if the metallic eyes on the tail and truly see.
