On an enormous rock boulder four stunning images are carved. Three of them are on the sun warmed, rain worn rock face - a standing image, a reclining image and a seated buddha. Another buddha statue sits within the gloomy walls of a cave. This gal vihara (stone temple) was built by King Parakramabahu I (1153-86).
