A landmass of 8,800 hectares, the vegetation
of the undisturbed natural forest is lush and beautiful with
trees rising tall, their crowns forming a thick mantle at
canopy level. Gaps in the canopy are few and little sunlight
penetrates. Where a tree has fallen, a stream, road or animal
track cuts through the forest, golden streaks of light comes
pouring in.
