Images can be supplied scanned
in low or high resolution on Floppy Disc or Compact Disc
for reproduction purposes, and in print form for framing.
Images scanned low resolution
can be e-mailed to you for viewing/selection purposes.
The original transparencies/prints can
also be supplied where necessary.
SCANNING
Images have been scanned at 50 dpi resolution
for viewing purposes. The original images are of professional
quality. In order to improve viewing quality you may have
to adjust the monitor settings. The contents of this site
should be viewed at 1024x768 DPI (or more) monitor resolution.
Please adjust your monitor settings accordingly. Images with
higher/lower resolution can be provided as required.

The Studio Times Library of Photographs is
one of the most extensive in the Island. Having commenced
operations in 1965 under Nihal Fernando, its library includes
rare and irreplaceable images of the forts in Jaffna and Delft,
beautiful black and white images of rural landscapes which
have changed forever with the opening up of roadways and modernization
and stunning colour photographs. The best selection of wild
life images is also available with Studio Times.
